• We love having a clean home and sharing different ideas on how you can clean various items in your home.  But what about what’s on your hands every day?  Your wedding band (and other jewelry) is subjected daily to so many germs and chemicals.  In can really start to dull the shine over time.  Here’s what I’ve found works for me. I have an old toothbrush head that I keep just for my jewelry, mainly my wedding band.  I put it on my electric toothbrush whenever I notice my ring starting to dull.  I put a little toothpaste and a dab of baking soda on the brush and turn it on.  It polishes in less than a minute and gets in the grooves just right.  This works for gold, silver and white gold.  When I’m finished, I just pop that old brush head off and put it back for safe keeping.  It waits for the next jewelry cleaning session and my ring is free from filth to once again glimmer in the sun.
